Listen, we aren’t getting any younger, and the truth is nothing is more important than taking care of your body. On my latest episode of Living Social, I interview Gentric, owner and operator of Flex-Able; a place that puts you first. 

Stretching is always something most people tend not to focus on. Some will spend hours at the gym, but only take 10 minutes or no time at all to stretch! Doing stretches is extremely important when it comes to keeping your muscles flexible, strong and healthy. If you never stretch, your muscles shorten and therefore feel tight creating less of a range of motion and causing the muscles to become weak.

When you first arrive to Flex-Able your body will be assessed to determine which muscles need the most attention. After that is identified, the Stretch Therapist will execute a series of stretches that specifically target those limitations. This process will force your muscles to relearn how to function optimally, reducing muscle imbalances, improper joint mobility and postural dysfunction. 

After the process of retraining the muscles how they are supposed to move, they reassess to see if any other muscles have weakened or become overstretched. The stretches and movements then become more intricate to constantly improve the body and prevent any further injury. This can improve joint and muscle function, helping people stand, balance, walk, and climb stairs better.
