If you’re a parent, you know that rain can really be a buzzkill. You want your kids to be able to play outside and use up all their energy so they can get a good night's sleep and rain can make that hard to do. Well, going to the playground doesn’t need to depend on the weather anymore thanks to Outslide In, Charleston’s premier indoor playground located in the Belk Wing of the Citadel Mall.

OutSlide In features a giant play structure with 4 slides, 3 party rooms, a toddler area, and a mini city for imagination play! It’s basically kid heaven. While the kids are running around and having a good time, the parents can go to the lounge area which has wifi so you can scan the web and read more of my blogs, or even get some work done. What’s even better is this place serves up coffee, snacks, beer, and wine. Yes, you read that right, while you kids are playing you can enjoy a nice glass of wine and catch up on some netflix, count me in! I guess this place is heaven for the adults too.

Ages 0-2 get in for $7.95, ages three and up get in for $11.95 and us adults get in for free. They also offer spaces for birthday parties and have various packages to suit every party size. With over 7,000 square feet, the kids will play all day and come home exhausted. The space is so brightly colored with multi-level soft play areas with slides, climbing obstacles, tunnels & bridges. There is so much for any child to do and it’s good for all ages. Their unique layout provides separate play areas for toddlers (1-2 years), preschool/elementary age children (3-8 years) and older children (8-12 years) to enjoy. Plus, the weather is always nice at Outslide In.

I wish they had these when my kids were growing up, they would have been a big help, but now, I get to bring my grand kids here! They never get bored and are actually sad when we have to leave. Now, when it rains they get excited because that means a trip to Outslide In. I definitely recommend bringing the kiddos here, and I hope you get the chance to do so soon. Thanks for tuning in, be sure to subscribe to see where we go next!
